Evacuation Drill

Evacuation drills are conducted in most buildings at least once a year.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

TO BE ADHERED TO DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS
and WORK BEFORE - AFTER HOURS

WHAT Should you do IF the ALARM sounds ?

On hearing the Alarm sounds as : beeep beeep beeep beeep

PREPARE TO EVACUATE and FOLLOW INTRUCTIONS from Public Announcement or Emergency Team

save files, turn off equipment and remain calm.

On hearing the Alarm sounds as: whooop whooop whooop whooop

EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY !!
Leave the building via the nearest safe EMERGENCY EXIT .
Do not use the lifts !!!

Proceed as directed to the Evacuation Assembly Area Point ---

QUADRANGLE LAWN

Remain in the Assembly area Point until be notified to return to the building.

Locker Hire

The School Office will provide both the padlock and key to students who wish to hire a locker. The padlocks are very strong! Please read the terms and conditions (http://scoff.ee.unsw.edu.au/information/lockersterms.pdf) for pricing etc.
Lockers are located on the 2nd floor, Electrical Engineering Building. They are close to the Room 224. You can view the locker numbering diagram (http://scoff.ee.unsw.edu.au/information/LockerDiagram.pdf) here.

You must remove all the contents at the end of the Semester once your hire term has ended ( or we will have to do so for you...)

If you require a locker for Summer Session or Winter Session , please come to the School office after the last day of Examinations.
